So I am getting ready to go to the Dallas Tax Day Tea Party and I see this headline on drudge "ABC Reports: Obama was not aware of Tea Parties." Yeah right, I don't think he is that out of it. However, if he really is does that not send a message? I also read a few articles about how everyone attending these Tea Parties are just stupid simpletons, or a GOP rally. This is just not true, we are Americans that want accountability. Furthermore, I just find that terribly offensive. Its not Republicans, or Democrats, we are just Americans taking a stand against an out of control government. Someone needs to tell them to stop, it is amazing how far they have gotten and just how much is being spent. These people are the people who need to be educated, they just do not understand. We are their bosses, this is our money not theirs. Congress exists because of the states and the people, not the other way around. I was at work drinking tea all day actually and one of my coworkers asked "hey why are you drinking tea today?" Of course I reply "Well its Tax day, and we are having tea parties, it seems fitting." He replied "Tea parties? what for?" So I try to explain and I start with making sure he knew about the Boston Tea party and he did not! I was floored that I had to explain to a grown man basic United States history. Well I am off, should have some photographs hopefully. If you are in the Dallas area here is the information:
..and just for the record I am not against Obama, democrats, or just the left. I am against wasteful spending, unconstitutional government control, and the lack of accountability.
